Having achieved Number one hits around the world, Former Colac musician Leigh Moneghetti is continuing to build on his fan base wherever he performs.  His    laid-back style in presenting the country music classics of the past proves to be entirely popular.  He has the ability to find almost forgotten songs, that might have been charting hits in their day, and refresh the memories of his audience. 

 

Leigh also has a knack of putting a bright new spin on some old country standards also, whilst still maintaining their integrity.

The kind of songs that you might hear from Leigh are from Legendary  performers like Johnny Cash, Slim Dusty, Jim Reeves, and Hank Williams, plus many more. The Rock 'n' Roll hits from the 50's and 60's get an airing also, along with many popular songs from the 70's and more. But all the while, Leigh stands close to his own style, with rich, smooth vocals –     developed from his love of crooners like Dean Martin, Bing Crosby, and Pat Boone.

While the piano is Leigh's main instrument, he can also play guitar and drums.  With over 1000 performances under his belt from the past 25 years, Leigh certainly has the ability to understand his audience, and pays them due respect. 

 

Over the past 5 years, Leigh has been performing with Cameron Mason, presenting ‘Kings of Country’ and ‘Where Country and Rock Collide’. Most recently, Leigh and Cameron have developed a popular show named ‘Hit List’. In this show you can her some of the best songs of all time… and some Country.
